"I Became a First Grader" (一年生になった Ichi-nen-sei ni Natta?) is the first episode of Non Non Biyori Repeat.
Summary[]
Renge, who is about to start first grade, goes with the others to check out the school the day before the entrance ceremony.
Kazuho and Renge see Hikage off at the train station as she heads to Tokyo, where she will be attending high school.
On the first day of school, as Renge and the others enjoy the entrance ceremony and begin their first lessons, Hotaru moves into her house in Asahigaoka.
Trivia[]
- The Asahigaoka train station is based on the Kakinoki Station on the Tadami Line in Uonuma, Niigata Prefecture. This station was closed permanently in 2015.
- This episode has a rare mention of Renge's parents when Kazuho tells her, "You'll probably ride with Mom and Dad in the car tomorrow."

- The end credits show scenes of Hotaru and Renge playing at Komari and Natsumi's house. They sit in a wading pool, then enjoy some watermelon.
